Lennie Scheck
President
Lennie Scheck has been a driving force behind Standard Demolition since helping launch the family business alongside his father and brother in 1988. As President, he oversees the company's day-to-day operations, ensuring every project is executed with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
With decades of hands-on experience in demolition, heavy equipment operations, and project management, Lennie leads a skilled team dedicated to delivering reliable demolition services for commercial, industrial, and municipal clients throughout California.
Joe Scheck
Vice President
Joe Scheck has been a key member of the family business since 1988, helping build Standard Demolition into one of California's trusted demolition contractors. As Vice President of Standard Demolition and President of Standard Industries, Joe oversees both demolition operations and the company's scrap metal recycling division.
With decades of experience in demolition, material recovery, and recycling, Joe plays an important role in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and responsibly. His leadership helps maximize the value of recyclable materials while supporting Standard Demolition's commitment to quality, environmental stewardship, and exceptional service for clients throughout California.
Nort Colborn
Senior Estimator & Project Manager
Nort’s grandfather, father, and older brother were contractors, he grew up around construction and began working as a helper at a young age. After high school, he earned a bachelor’s degree from UC Davis in City Planning. He went back to the trades after college, first as a demolition laborer, then as an equipment operator, a field foreman, a superintendent, a sales rep, and for the last 30 years as a demolition estimator and project manager. Nort has extensive knowledge of all phases of construction and demolition including take offs, estimating, contracts, permits, submittals, reverse engineering, equipment, safety and techniques. He’s a team player who understands the importance of direct communication and serves the needs of his clients to help make their partnerships profitable for all. In his spare time, he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, travel, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Randy Mayes
Project Superintendent
Randy Mayes joined Standard Demolition in 1992 after serving in the U.S. Air Force as a Certified Airplane Repairman and working as a certified oilfield welder.
His technical expertise, field experience, and commitment to safety have made him an invaluable leader on some of the company's most challenging demolition projects. Randy oversees field operations with a focus on efficiency, quality, and safe project execution.
Outside of work, Randy enjoys motorcycle riding and surfing California's coastline.
David Delgado
Estimator
David Delgado is the newest member of the Standard Demolition leadership team, bringing fresh perspective, strong leadership, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service on every project. He works closely with the team to support operations, strengthen client relationships, and help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
David shares Standard Demolition's commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality, and is dedicated to building on the company's reputation as one of California's trusted demolition contractors.

Standard Demolition’s commitment to recycling and waste reduction has grown from the conviction that landfill disposal of demolition waste is both cost prohibitive and destructive to our country’s natural resources. By recycling materials back into construction products, we not only reduce our consumption of those resources, but we also diminish the waste stream into rapidly filling landfill sites.
